We don’t actually do the powder-coating ourselves but we use a reputable company called Aerocoat to get the work done, what we do is remove and prepare the parts that need to be powder-coated. The can be engine cases, rocker covers mudguards, frames, handlebars, switchgear, whatever you like.

Aerocoat based in St. Olaves, south of Norwich, has gained an excellent reputation for top quality workmanship and on time performance. We are an ambitious and innovative powder coating company that successfully delivers a high quality service to customers with many different needs.

Cerakote™

What Is Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coatings are generally used for automotive heat management and performance enhancement. They have been tried and tested on rally, track and high performance street cars and motorcycles over the past ten years with zero adhesion failure and excellent overall performance.

Cerakote™, arguably one of the best coatings on the market. Typically used on firearms, this coating is possibly the hardest, most durable of finishes currently available, capable of withstanding the toughest of environments.

Powder-coating

Powder coating is an advanced method of applying a decorative and protective finish to a wide range of materials and products that are used by both industries and consumers. The powder coating process uses a solvent free dry mix of plastic resins, pigments and fillers that melt and fuse together when heated. The solid particles of coating are electrostatically charged in a spray gun and carried by low velocity air to the surface of the piece to be coated. The electrostatic charge holds the powder particles in place while the part is cured in an oven at the required temperature. The heat of the oven causes a chemical reaction to occur and the powder to cure, creating a highly durable finish.
